Seamless gutters provide a better system to manage the flow of rainwater on buildings and homes

Seamless gutters can be made with a variety of different materials and in an assortment of colors. New Look's Renovations specializes in aluminum seamless gutters, using only the highest quality available materials and aluminum.

Traditional rain gutter systems are made by joining lots of sections together by means of joints.

Which incidentally creates their biggest problems. Over time the joints in traditional gutters are fatigued and strained caused by temperature fluctuation and weather which breaks them down and wears them out. This can cause all sorts of problems not only with the gutter system itself but the siding and landscaping around a structure by allowing rain water to drip and run. Seamless gutters solves this problem by eliminating seamed joints altogether.

Investing in seamless rain gutters may seem like a higher up front cost over traditional seamed gutters; however, seamless gutters install much quicker with less labor; provides lasting quality and durable longevity; as an investment provides greater all around peace of mind.

Leaf Guards and Gutter Covers

Leaves and other debris can cause gutter clogs in any gutter system. Clogs can lead to other problems and gutter system failure. Seamless gutters with leaf guards can insure you'll never have to deal with clogged gutters again; in-turn preventing gutter system failures.

Seamless Aluminum Gutters an Excellent Value

There are many reasons to choose seamless aluminum gutters over other types of gutter systems.

    Consider these advantages:

  • Durable, factory finish: Aluminum gutters come with a factory applied finish available in an assortment of colors that can be matched to your home/building or roof. The finish requires no maintenance (unless scratched which can be touched-up) in general it will never wear off.

  • No rust and corrosion: Aluminum doesn't rust or corrode; the material really is maintenance-free.

  • Fast Installation: Our skilled crews can generally complete a seamless gutter installation on an average sized building or home in one day when fascia and soffits are in good condition and do not require repair.

  • More affordable over other gutter system options: Seamless aluminum gutters typically cost less, often because of how quickly they can be installed in comparison to other gutter systems.

New Look's Installs Seamless Gutters in Any Length

"Seamless" says it all and is the biggest advantage with this type of gutter system. They are custom-made to any required length, eliminating any need for seams (which are a major point of failure in traditional gutter systems). Flat aluminum sheets and rolls are fed through a machine which forms them to a specific gutter profile. We only use the highest quality aluminum materials that provide the maximum available thickness, making them extra-durable with a thickness of 0.32 inches. Our gutters are formed onsite at the exact length needed into a 5 inch wide channel for maximum water-flow and secured with hidden rust free stainless steel brackets and screws.

The Quality and Condition of Fascia Boards should Always be Checked Prior to New Gutter Installation and Replacement

This is an important step; any rotted, broken or missing fascia board will need to be fixed or replaced before gutters can be installed. New Look's always does a thorough inspection before hanging gutters on any building or home. When called for we can easily make these repairs or replacements prior to any gutter installation.

If your in need of, or looking to have your facia updated to match your new gutters - we offer Facia Wrapping; aluminum sheets that are machine bent to size on-site; permanently protecting your fascia boards; pretty much making your facia a no-maintenance solution that you never have to paint to keep sealed.

Drip-Edges Should Also be Inspected Prior to Gutter Installation and Replacement

Inspecting home and building drip-edges for defects and improper installation is great way to prevent possible points of gutter system failure including structural damage to roofs and walls. If any existing drip-edges are to close to the fascia, they won't properly direct the water that runs off the roofs edge into into the gutter system. New Look's Renovations always checks the drip-edges on every roof while checking the facia boards. Anywhere there is a problem we recommend "Drip-over-Drip" edges be installed.

Drip-Over-Drip Edges

These custom drip-edges are bent to go behind existing drip-edges so they can properly re-direct water into the gutters; keeping water from dripping down between gutters and exterior walls.

Installing Seamless Aluminum Gutters and Downspouts

  1. Flat to Formed: Seamless gutters start as a flat sheet or roll of finished aluminum. A gutter machine forms the gutters profile enabling our crews to create a seamless gutter at any length. Once the machine trims the gutter to the required length, crew members attach the end caps by crimping the ends to the formed gutter creating a perfect seal to make the gutter water tight.

  2. Strength from brackets: Cross braces are installed at an average of 36 inches apart stiffening the gutter. These brackets also provide all the attachment points during installation to fascia boards.

  3. Fascia Fastening: Screws are driven through each bracket into the fascia which anchors the gutter in place. Every section of gutter is pitched to allow water to drain towards the drop outlet where the downspout connects to the gutter.

  4. Draining: The crew assemble downspouts from elbows and sections of straight boxed tubing, which are then attached to the drop outlets of the gutters and then bracketed to the side of the structure or home. The flow when water exits near the ground is directed outward away from the foundation.
